If it is made of wood and doesn't trangress the laws of physics, we can build it. With a combined 70 years of furniture making experience in the workshop, we have made pieces which have shipped all over the world. Go on, treat yourself to something special.

River Table

The use of epoxy resin in furniture has advanced massively over the last few years with new design possibilities and styles constantly evolving. We have remodelled our classic Arran style table to now have a poured resin centre rather than the glass cover of years gone by. This new style Arran table has all the same character and features but now with a smooth continuous table top. Popularly known as 'river tables' we now make use of the wildest Scottish timber in our designs. Trees that would normally be too flawed or knobbly to make furniture are combined with the strength and versatility of the resin to create a wonderful centre piece for any home. At Fairlie furniture we have experimented with colouring the resin along with additives like sparkles and flakes, however we have settled on a classic dark tint to the resin as our signature finish. Many bolder colours like oranges and blues being a distraction rather than a compliment to the beauty of the wood.

River Chairs

Featuring a solid oak minimalist frame with elegant knee joints, these chairs highlight the natural beauty of elm wood, enhanced by flowing resin details, and a contemporary design that brings timeless elegance to any space.
